Insanity!, Stringed Instruments, and the Humans and Plants Who Play Them

I forgot to tell you, I did something cool too. I finished my Insanity workout program. It took a lot of work, but I kept with it. I didn't miss any of my workouts!

I am going to start over again tomorrow. You will be here later this week, so maybe you can help keep me on track!
I am also closer to my fitness goals!

I have another challenge too. I got this earlier this week. It's a banjo. I have been trying to think of what to name it. At first I was thinking Asani, the African god of storytelling, since banjos originated in Africa, and songs tell some of the best stories. I don't know though yet. It's not really sticking. What do you think: should I come up with something else, or should I just get used to it?

They say it takes about 10,000 hours to master an instrument. I have about 6 so far.

Also, I was gifted a plant at work last week. I named him Sideshow. I am making a Ukelele for him. Maybe you can help me decide how to paint it? Haha!

Honor Roll?!?

I am soooooo proud of you Miss Natalie!!

Getting Stuff Done.

Hey Natalie!

I am so proud of you for getting all As this semester, on your report card! You are an awesome girl. Smart girls can certainly go far in life. You are off to a good start!  Did you make a goal to get all As or did it just happen?

I am working on a new fitness goal. I started doing Insanity this week. It's a fitness program that has crazy hard workouts. I am doing really good so far. I sure do miss you being around to encourage me though. I could have used you today. I struggled during today's workout.

I hope I do as well in my program as you did in school!

I love you!
