Neon Watermelon Bow Ties

Hey Nat,

How are you? Did you get your project turned in okay? How are you liking your new glasses? You forgot to send me a picture of you in them. You can post one on here if you want.

We are signing the lease for that apartment tomorrow. I can't wait until you can come out to visit! We are going to be in Boise on Saturday morning. I think we are spending Saturday night at Nana and Papa's house, so you should try to sleep over too!

I was taking care of your Sims a little. Both of the Natalie girls spent the day at the ice skating rink. My girl is planting. That is all I got to. Maybe on Saturday, we will finally get that latte made! Bingur on Virtual Families sure is stubborn. He hardly works and he and his wife would never have any babies, so I adopted them one yesterday. She is cute. I bought her an outfit, but then accidentally put it on the mom. Grr. Ah well...

What's new with you?

I love you!!

What's Happening Miss Nat Nat?

Hi Nattie Rae!

How are you doing? I started work at my new job. There are a lot of really nice people there. One lady I work with has a little girl who is nine, just like you! Maybe you two could hang out when you come to visit. She has really long, blonde hair like your buddy, Nora.

I went to my cousin Craig and his wife's house yesterday. They are a hoot! You will really like them. I think they just might get a kick out of you too! We might live near them in Seattle, when we get an apartment.

How is school going? Are you practicing your math facts? I think you should take our Space Game to your dad's house, once I get back to Boise and can get it to you. Did you find a shoe box for your erosion project?

I have to go walk Denver Dog.  Talk to you really soon!

Love you!

Musical Monkeys and Unabased Wolves

Dear Natalie,

You forgot to take someone with you this morning. I decided to bring him with me. When we drove by Baker City, Oregon today, Spencer found a station on the radio that he really liked: 94.5. You should check it out if you ever find yourself in that range. Who ever knew of a sock-monkey who is crazy about old-school country western music?

I am not sure if you have anything planned for your science project on erosion yet, but I thought you might be stoked about this book they have at the Downtown Library!      Here's the information:

I sure do miss you already sweetheart! Denver and I are staying in a smelly, muggy, cold hotel room. It sure isn't very comfortable! Denver helped himself to the rest of your hot chocolate this morning. He really needs to work on his manners. We are both pretty sleepy from that 8-hour drive. We made two stops on the way: one in Caldwell because I forgot to put air in the tires and the Stage Stop there has FREE AIR, and one in Washington to go potty and get more gas.

I get to start my new job tomorrow morning. I am going to bring the turtle painting that you gave me to hang up at my desk. I bet it brightens up my space! I wish I would have remembered to bring my "teacher" coffee mug that you got me. I will figure something out.

How was your day? Did you make it to choir okay?

Goodnight my sweet girl!

Love,

Mom

The Eve of Separation

It's our last night together, for at least a couple of weeks. Tomorrow morning, I will be making my way to Washington, so that I can start my new job on Wednesday. I have entrusted Miss Natalie to take care of Spencer, my beloved sock-monkey/best sleep-mate. I think it is going to be hard sometimes, but I am hoping this and other things will help us keep in touch. We want to read a book together. I hope Natalie chooses something good! I am 32 years-old, I have one fluffy wolf named Denver and no hamsters, but a want of a soft kitten! My favorite color is red. I like book reading, long walks and warm drinks.
